  • Small Lefty family, 2 Fenders, Ibanez and a Dano!

Hi, here are some pics of my lefty guitars, I'm a hobby player of modest means and all these were purchased for under $450 (Cdn) each. As a matter of fact, I bought one for $425, one for $350, one for $140 and one for under $100. I'll let you decide which is which, lol.

Thanks, these RGs have great necks, as I'm sure you're aware. The downside, as you've hinted at, is there was almost no choice of factory color, lol. Apparently the RG550L only came in 2 colors in 1990, black and coral mist red. And that's double the choice you had compared to an RG560L, which only came in black! So if you want another color on your RG, sorry, you're only choice is in a spray can, lol.

That Tele was my second electric guitar. I sold an eighties lefty Ibanez Artist AR100LCS and bought that used. It's becoming my project guitar, the previous owner cut the pickguard and installed a mini-humbucker at the neck a SD hot rail stack at the bridge. The neck is not original and the body was painted black at some point before I obtained it. After playing it with the humbucker setup for years, I decided I wanted a more traditional Tele sound and look. After swapping pups, new pickguard and some used Grover tuners, it's got the Tele vibe again, lol. I think I've decided to refinish the body and will probably go for the original cream yellow. I'm currently on the look out for a used lefty Fender Tele bridge as the current bridge is a cheap aftermarket.
