  • Eseries MIJ P-Bass NGD

Went to the local pawn and picked up a Squier P-Bass E-Japanese for a song! She has her share of dings, a brass nut, and a Bad Ass Bridge.

Hey B, have a question for you.

It was funny that you just purchased this bass as I have been contemplating a bass for a while...

Well, today on the local CL is a P Bass at what I think is a decent price:

I know it's difficult to tell from a crappy little photo, but in your opinion, what do you think of this one? What about the price???

I'm going to try a see it later this morning. I have to head to the airport later and this one is on the way.

How do you like your P Bass?

        Thanks,

        M

Are you kidding, if it's really american then crap get it. Price is right. Mine is sweet as the hardware and pickups have been upgraded, though I hav'nt taken her apart to see if the pickups have ID on them yet. Once i get new strings I'll take her top off. I noticed my bass processor's down click is not working (EVEN AFTER FACTORY PRESET) Oh well, I just cant down patch and cant go into tuner mode Digitec BP200. But love I the sound of this bass.

Turns out it was dropped and the body has a crack on the back and the neck cracked so he replaced it with an aftermarket neck.

Now we know why the cheap price tag.

I might still look at this weekend, probably not though.

I finally got to breaking open my FujiGen P-bass 12/9/87

              Alder wood ?

And not the original pickup, but no markings ... question mark, I like it though : )

Oh ... and I had to fix the ground wire to the input jack, evidently the previous owner did'nt know how to solder, so I found a wire wrapped around the the ground lug ... lol

I still like your bass. One of these days, I'll find one locally.
