Plays like nothing else. In a good way.
I'm so glad we went with alder for the body, it sings and it growls all at the same time.
The RH100 pups by M3 are LOUD! They have punch and they pick up on the sustain in this thing.
Sustain? This has as much as my LP junior and that's a m-o-n-s-t-e-r!
M3 vibrato does divebombs and comes back into tune, no problem. Only thing is I already broke a high E string. Broke off the ball, so even before the winding.
Maybe a sharp edge in the stringanchor. I replaced the D'Addario Oigun set it up with with 7ender Super Bullets 10-46.
Not impressed with the kinda generic roller bridge I bought, it has the typical buzz you hear about from JazzMaster owners, I might go to a Mastery bridge.
I'm trying to get a recording that sounds half way decent, but my digicam can't handle the tones from the amp. Not like too loud, just sounds awful.(the recordings! jeez...) Doesn't do the guitar justice, you'll just have to be patient a little longer till I can get something set up for my laptop.
Amazing guitar, I'm proud to own it. Thanks Oi! U DA MAN!

Bang Bang Shoot Shoot coming John. I thought I'd do a quich recording with my dig cam. I either get way too much noise or it distorts. Been all up an down the dial on the amp, all up and down the room with the cam. I'll do a recording into the laptop some night this week.

Nice Olav, what's up with the zero fret ? Do you hear any buzzing on open chording? Do the strings sit on the fret when not pressed?
... the shot with the plane rulz ...

                  MĂ„srite

Allroy, the 0-fret acts as a nut would. Some actually prefer a (metal) zero fret over a 'conventional' nut. The reindeer antler stringguide is no more than a stringguide, does 'nothing' for sound since the string essentially ends at the 0 fret.

Dr. Brian May's Red Special has a zero fret. You guys must be on to something

this is downright gorgeous, preferably i would've gone with a birdseye maple fretboard though

the zero fret is really cool because it makes open notes sound exactly the same as a fretted note

Well I got the same hairdo as the dr.
                          No I don't, but I bet you're wondering...

Loads of builders use(d) 0frets. Recently they were becoming associated with cheapo guitars, which is a shame because like Lost mentioned it has a certain 'advantage'.

I was talking to Oigun about that and about maybe building two necks, one PauFerro and one Birdseye Maple, he just looked at me like I was crazy. Which, in all fairness I think I was.
My initial intent for the look of this guitar was to have it look close to an original, but not look standard. I think that's pretty much achieved.
