  • Lefty Michel Scamps Custom

SOLD SOLD SOLD ON Craig's list

This guitar was custom made by the famous French luthier Michel Scamps in 2002 (paid more than $2500)

There are two or three very little wear-and-tear signs, but still in perfect playing condition and looks awesome.

    - H-H pickup configuration (DiMarzio PAF Pro and Evolution)
    - 3-position switch and the push-pull volume button which splits humbuckers allowing different styles
    - Schaller bridge (Floyd Rose patent) and head mechanics.
    - 24 frets - ebony fretboard
    - neck is inserted in body (tenon and mortise) and glued, for best conductivity of sound without suffering too much constraint from the strings
    - natural maple wood body design.
    - taylored hardshell case

Selling since more of a single coil strat guy

Yeah, that is why I bought it but never got into the two humbuckers even through tappable/splittable. I guess I am too stuck on the single coil setup.

          I got it from ebay

Yup, I got it from ebay thinking I'd try switching over to two humbucker setup (splittable w/push pull volume pot) from my familiar single coil strat type setup. It just isn't me yet. If I don't sell it, maybe I'll get used to it as I can still get the out of phase sound with the middle position.

I keep seeing this on CL.

I'm from Sacramento. I'd totally be into it, except for that danged FR.

"NO, I don't build left handed guitars! I think left handed people are freaks and should not even play the guitar."

Words by a famous luthier when asked by me for a custom left handed instrument quote.

"Great man, you are brilliant! So your stupid ass thinks that Hendrix should have never played the guitar?!"
