  • A piece of lefty history.

Very nice and also check the serial number.
Great piece for any lefty collector.
"NO, I don't build left handed guitars! I think left handed people are freaks and should not even play the guitar."

Words by a famous luthier when asked by me for a custom left handed instrument quote.

"Great man, you are brilliant! So your stupid ass thinks that Hendrix should have never played the guitar?!"

    My reply.

You know what is so cool about this one, besides everything; is the fact that you can goto the RIC site and have the owner of the company verify the truthfulness of the documentation.

Awesome looking guitar and what I think is a very reasonable price. Still, to rich for my blood.

It's very cool, but it doesn't need to be a lefty - no one is ever going to play it. May as well buy a right-handed version and save yourself a grand or two.

Kind of has his numbers wrong. They made about 2500 Lennon signature models. I have one of the 355/6 strings (look on my sold "sold electrics" at Rickenbacker) They made 660 rightys of the 355/6 and 8 leftys. I don't remember the exact number of 355/12s, but likely in the 600 range. I do believe there were only 3 of the 12s made. They also made 325/6s and 325/12s in similar numbers to make the 2500. I had the 355/6 for sale for months at $3299 with no takers. It will be difficult to sell that guitar at his price.

Hey Jerry, speaking of Ric lefty numbers, do you have any idea how many of the 4001CS Chris Squire Limited Edition were lefty?
