Very nice looking guitar, but is it worth that kind of money (about $2050US)? WOW

I was thinking of purchasing a Tokai "Love Rock" from ebay about 12 to 18 ago. It looked nice and was relisted about 4 times before someone bit.

I think the first week it was $500 and reduced to $400, etc. When it sold, I think it went for either $200 or $225.

I really wanted to click the BIN tab, but just couldn't get past having "Love Rock" inscribed on the headstock where it should read "Les Paul". Just doesn't sound very manly to me.

I do wish that I were wiser though, as I hear nothing but great reviews regarding Tokai guitars.

    Good Luck to the seller.

I put it on tokaiforum for the guys to have a stab at too, seems the guitar is kinda high-priced.

What? In mine? That's my Marshall MS-4.

It's a 1Watt, 9V battery driven miniature-full-stack. Cranked all the way it sounds really cool. When the battery starts to loose power it gets that fuzzy, hissy overdrive.

Especially in the avatar it looks like the monolith from A Space Oddissey. Sounds like something from Planet Of The Apes.
