It's probably a left handed player who plays with the strings upside down, i.e. strung right handed. Guy in my local shop plays like that ( Lefty Strat strung righty), no one left or right handed can figure out his licks !

Righty players who use lefty guitars upside down to "look like Jimi" p!$$ me off no end.
