Have any idea what the import taxes are like when you buy from Japan ?

In NL it's a couple % for importing, then they hit you up for sales tax 19% if that wasn't payed in Japan already (oh! and sometimes even then...(and the Obama registration put Holland on their Tax-heaven list)). You ought to be able to find out through US Customs I guess.
I had a brief encounter with 'em when I was looking to buy my Jr. They didn't offer overseas sales then, this Japanese guy on another forum offered to go get it for me if I'd wire him the money.

There shouldn't be any taxes in the US. That's the good news, bad news, I'm pretty sure they can't ship the US.
