For that price point it should be a higher quality build.

Schecter tried pulling the "let's put a ton of inlays on this guitar to justify the price" 15 years ago and I think the schtick is up.

Hmm I never thought they may be doing the inlays to justify the price. I always thought it was just an edgy A7X thing.

Back then people didn't take Korean guitars seriously so they tried to do whatever cheap thing they could that other brands didn't on production models in order to attract buyers. They came stock with a decent top, quality hardware and electronics, and then fancy inlays. An equivalent Fender, Jackson, Ibanez, or Epiphone didn't have any of those things for that price.
