Tone zone\air Norton is a common pair for the RG
I recently got the Ibanez 550 and I don’t love the pickups, looking to try something new, 80’s rock type so my question is what do you guys recommend and if you’ve got anything to sell I’m interested!
Thanks

That'll probably work well for the sound you want. Tone Zone has a ton of body and harmonics. It was a little too loose for what I needed but I loved the sound at the same time back when I had one.
Air Norton rules in the neck of these. So does the Jazz.
Yup the Tone zone/air norton as well as the JB/Jazz are pickup sets that you can't go wrong with on a superstrat.
I tried a lot of pickups on my basswood superstrats and below are my favorite so far:
-Dimarzio Transition (full, powerful, organic, singing, my actual favorite)
-Anderson H3 (lots of power, hi-fi but not cold)
-Duncan Perpetual Burn (not that hot, close to the JB but with a tad more clarity)
-Bill Lawrence XL500 (you love it or you hate it... powerful with a great attack, but may sound like a duck with the wrong amp/amp settings lol)
-Dimarzio The Breed
-Dimarzio Steve's Special (all about clarity and attack, great for leads!)
I also tried on these guitars:
Anderson HN3
Dimarzio Evolution, Super 3, Double Whammy
Duncan Screamin Demon, Full Shred, JB, Dimebucker
Bareknuckle Rebel Yell
And that's only for the bridge pickups!so don't hesitate to ask if you want a more in-depth review
