    Thats a hell of a guitar. This has early 80s Dave Mustaine vibes all over it.

    Back in the day small companies like BC Rich, and WAY back when companies like Fender and Gibson had a huge stock of highly figured woods and their customer base often ordered over the phone or via catalog, and obviously they're not snail mailing them Polariods of the build. A customer orders a guitar in black or red and the builder just throws one together the same as a trans finish. Customer has no idea the woods underneath their candy apple red guitar is some miracle of nature.

    It’s funny, they would just paint over this and I just paid an additional $1200.00 for it lol

    Yeah thatís pretty much what Dan told me too. Especially if it was a lefty, instead of making a new body they just grabbed whatever was sitting on the shelf to get the custom order out to avoid delays.

    Yea it is.. I know my other 80’s BCR’s get more attention but when it comes to build quality and type of wood this one takes the lead.
