    Default Kemper Profiler

So, I ended up picking up a Kemper Profiler. Most of you know for awhile any of my recordings have been with a Fractal AX8. So I was really curious to try out a Kemper. And I have to say I'm really impressed. I'm still trying to learn how to record with it properly for the best audio quality. There is definitely a different feel to it under the fingers when comparing it to the AX8. And the coolest aspect is when hooking it up to a real cabinet it sounds so close to the real amps its not even funny. I recorded a quick clip and I figure while I keep going I'll post them up in this thread.

Alot of artists are attesting to that very notion, and from the demos Ive heard (A/B’ing) I would have to agree. I know one popular setup is pairing this with a tube poweramp which produces amazing results that are so damn close to the real thing its not even funny.

As long as its a good reliable product and/or one that can be serviced should the need ever arise I think this will be a good thing for a long time coming. I personally prefer tube preamps and poweramps (rack mount), however Im not an elitist about it and I gotta say these are quite impressive.

I have a Fryette Powerstation and it truly is amazing pairing the kemper with a tube power section

Ive been using a Kemper for 4+ years and still totally love it. Use it for everything... rehearsals, pub gigs, recording, festivals, home practice, garage jams.. basically everything... And it's never let me down. The bass player in our band dug it so much he ended up getting one also. Digital stuff is getting so good now days its amazing (Fractal, Torpedo, Amplifire.. even Line 6 ) It's all good.

Our entire live rig for the whole band is easier to move than a classic guitarists amp and 4x12 cab! Imho... sounds better too
