Nobody +1'd it, kept saying it needed a +1 and everyone kept +1'ing other guitars that were already +1'd.

If it makes you feel any better, this is the first time since I started doing GOTS that any of my guitars received a nom.

My Explorer was never nominated. Really thought that was +1'd until I noticed I had it since 2013 and we began GOTS a year later when cooler shit arrived.

Edit: I'm torn between three guitar, two were kinda easy to remove. Hopefully I come to a decision soon.

I wish more people would have voted, with as many active members as we have, these could be so much more interesting. I was rather surprised at the outcome of this one considering the small turnout we got.

Either way, I still very much enjoy this because it shines light on the guitars themselves, which we can all admire and respect. That's really the intention of this anyways. Over the years we've really build up our catalog on here so to speak, where as sometimes it pays to do a search on here as opposed to going straight to google and have to sort through that stuff.

I agree, they totally need to bring back those finishes!!! Always love them, and the Crackle Charvels and Charvettes, although we didn't get many models made for us, I still very much admired and enjoyed them.

I wish BCRich would get their asses in gear and get with the program. If they actually revamped their line and got serious with it and reissued their old models and finishes, they would certainly be able to grab their fair share of the market. They are one of the few companies that really haven't gone through new ownership recently and went through those steps.

They were onto something with that Gunslinger reissue, so if they kicked it up a notch and offered better hardware, pickups, finishes, all made in the USA for the $1,500 price bracket that they talked about, I could imagine that would sell. Just for an example. If they brought back the Ironbird, and offered a JrV and pretty much anything with a reverse headstock with Maple,Ebony and Rosewood, and diamond inlays as well as dots., etc, etc, man I'm really dreaming... :)
Oh yea and a Lightning Sky, and a Snakeskin, damn how about those Patrick Nagel graphics!

Big Ben for the win! Let's get some sick pictures of that beauty and a spec rundown for the main page!

Also, agree on BC Rich. They're not even making lefties anymore, fuckers.

Congrats to you Ben, that really was a nice score for a very rare guitar! Also it was nice learning about that fairly unknown guitar and the pictures of that finish and the back of the neck were awesome. I'm in agreement with Jesse, we need some fresh pictures for the red carpet award show!!!

Also congrats to everyone who made it to the final cut and also to Nubs and some other guys who didn't get their +1 as they should have. We will make it a point to ensure that doesn't happen again.

As always, some very nice guitars were in the running! Keep up the good work guys, and please keep sharing those NGDs and such!
Definitely makes it fun hats for sure!!
Rock on gentlemen! :)

I'll work on that today! I'm off work, so I can get some pics.

They stopped lefties all together? When did that happen!?

I'm not real sure if it's permanent or just until they get things situated, but I'm pretty sure 2016 was the last year. Leastwise there isn't any lefties being offered in 2017 (so far).
I'd say that Dave @XLG would know more details since he is a dealer. Perhaps he can shed some light on that subject for us. I miss him posting updates and heads up on new models. I can check there all the time and never see anything new, then I quit looking for a while and they are sold out of something really cool that was a limited run of 6. Then sometimes he gets another batch in too, which screws me up. Lol

@BC Rich replace all those headstock badges with something personnal do not advertise for them : }

BC Rich just got bought out by another company, it's like the 6th company in 20 years to own them, so the guy at NAMM said it's going to be a couple years before the next lefty run because they're changing production lines or something, that was last year.
