Left handed learner's kit for "5ths" tuning system - both great instruments. An Eastman MD540 mandolin and a Gliga Gems 1 violin. Both purchased new by me in the past couple of years.

Many violin teachers suggest learning mandolin to aid in acquiring the fingerboard/fretboard skills without being held back by learning bowing (which happens a bit more slowly). Here is a great set of instruments suitable for the beginner through semi-professional player. Both of these instruments have lovely sweet, loud, clear voices.

Both instruments are in excellent shape. The Gliga was played for < 10 hours before I switched to viola, and the Eastman has been played gently for the past couple of years, and is still in v.good to excellent shape.

A sturdy and cool Bobelock case is also included - it fits BOTH the lefty mando and violin!!

This Gliga 1 was upgraded from stock with 4 fine tuners, a Gliga Pernambuco M1 bow (since discontinued) and a lefty shoulder rest.

THREE cases are included - the Bobelock mando / violin, the Eastman mando case, and the Gliga violin case.

This would be well over $1600 if purchased separately. Take em now for $1250 paypalled / shipped in the continental US.

No trades, price is firm, but take $100 off for cash/pickup in Los Angeles.

Mandolin is sold. Violin is still available, with it's own case or this double case.
