View Full Version : What other types of areas would you guys like to see here?

I'm thinking of adding an amp section for questions, concerns, or general "Hell Yeah" area for amps and such. We could begin by listing the big rig manufacturers like Marshall, Mesa, Fender, Vox, etc and then work in the boutique stuff and whatnot if people want that.

Just wanting to give people a place to hang. I understand that it's hard to leave your respective favorite boards and such, so...

Give us a heads-up on what you guys would like to see.

what about a reveiw section of all lefties currently in production, or that have ever been produced.. a comprehensive list that someone looking to buy would browse and be able to say "whoa, thats the one i want".

also a guitar of the month section very similar to what sevensting.org has..
in fact i'd say just in general try to make in more like ss.org.

Do you think that a separate review section is warranted, or perhaps a sub-section of the lefty guitar discussion would be better?

We can definitely do a guitar of the month too. Let me think about how to work it.

edit: check it out

A review subforum would be good. It's easy enough to search a forum for specific things as long as people making threads title them properly and put the tags in. I don't see the need for specific brands or every guitar ever, just what people own and have had enough time playing to feel they can review it properly.

Amps/Gear subforum is also good.

Photoshop stuff should probably just come under a request thread (perhaps a sticky?) in The Custom Shop. To be honest with things like the VirtualJem, Kisakae thing and Jackson custom shop generator, if you just print-screen and mirror it horizontally you can visualise absolutely tons of ideas.

I just made a thread in Custom Shop with links to the generators, they'll save a lot of time photoshopping unless you're after something complicated!

An amp subforum would be great.

Maybe a amp classified too

Is there some way to post clips of our playing?

I've been throwing down some ideas lately that you guys might dig.

EDIT: Thanks ShredMojo - And now to go hit that espresso...

How about a section called "No Guts, No Glory" about electronics, pickups, mods, and upgrades. Just a thought.
