I'm looking to sell it because I just never use it anymore really. It's great, sharp as hell but I mostly use primes nowadays. I shot a few weddings with this... but I'd rather stab myself in the nuts than shoot another wedding.

I'm looking for $1250 or 800, OR a trade for something interesting. If someone wants to work out a deal, there's a Carvin I'm looking at on here that I'll probably end up buying with whatever money this lens generates so maybe there's some part exchange possibilities lurking.

So, about the item: it isn't in stellar physical condition. I've worked in the press/magazines for about 5 years and I used this lens and the 24-70 on just about every assignment so the white paint is a little flaked around the body end. This does not affect anything to do with the functionality of the lens. This is a solid, dependable and reliable performer that never let me down.

here's my website: www.tezmphoto.com which will vouch for my legit-ness.

Comes with the hood, carry case, manual, both caps and the optional tripod ring.

it looks a little like this:

I'm in UK now, but I have family in USA (upstate NY)

Feel free to PM any ideas, suggestions, whatever. This is a great piece of kit.
